LISTENERS' BULLETIN

A quarterly newspaper (9"x11.5" size) which started in October 1971 with the title 'RADIO NEWS' and subsequently changed to LISTENERS' BULLETIN, carries articles on lyricists, singers, music directors, etc. whose contribution to Hindi Film Music is yet remembered with respect by the numerous music lovers.
In the very beginning, a few issues were published at monthly intervals, then once in 2 months and finally settled down as quarterly publication. In September 2020, its 185th issue has been published. Though the stock of most of the old issues has exhausted, complete set (mostly xerox copies) of ALL old issues, properly bound in two volumes with its detailed Index of Contents, is available for music lovers at Rs.4,200/- net.
In order to collect the information for different volumes of HINDI FILM GEET KOSH, I visited many cities of India and met with numerous film personalities of yesteryears like G.M.Durrani, Madhulal Damodar Master, Zubeida, Ninu Mazumdar, Pradeep, Ramchandra Pal, Bhagwan, P.Jairaj, Kedar Sharma, Rajkumari, Zohrabai Ambalawali, Anil Biswas, S.N. Tripathi, etc., etc. In addition to updating the information for different volumes of HINDI FILM GEET KOSH, full details of these memorable meetings were given to the music lovers through the columns of LISTENERS' BULLETIN.
Its subscription is Rs.300/- (for obtaining 10 issues in closed envelope) only for music lovers residing in India while music lovers residing abroad may subscribe it @ US $ 2 per issue by air mail.
